Calendar updates
Year and month picker updated in the Calendar component.
We have updated the year-month picker inside the Calendar component to use a clearer two-step interface: one view for selecting the year and another for selecting the month.
This change was based on user feedback from multiple teams that users struggled to understand how to confirm the combined year and month selection in the previous month/year picker, often expecting an extra confirmation button.
The new pattern selects the year or month on click and then takes the user directly to the day view, reducing uncertainty and extra steps.
This approach is more scalable across devices, easier to extend, and keeps the interaction consistent with how other calendar elements behave in this component.
