New Content section
A new top-level Content has been added to the MDS website.
This section brings together existing content based guidelines (such as Currency and pricing, Error messages etc.) with a new overview page and a new Writing with AI page.
Kudos to Julie Bang and Silvia La Face for their contributions and engagement with us that formed the catalyst for this new section ☺️.
Updated support / service level agreement (SLA)
The Maersk Design System team receives many support requests and ideas for features every day.
To ensure efficient support and resolution of issues, we have updated the support page on the MDS website. This page now details how to get support, our preferred support channels and expected response times for bugs and new features.
A new dashboard
We have created a new dashboard and made this available on the MDS website.
The dashboard is used to monitor the health of the Maersk Design System and includes adoption rate, satisfaction rating, estimated time saved, releases, response times and raw numbers showing the scale of what the product has to offer.
Custom render function added to mc-table
For engineers, we have added a new render function hook into mc-table.
This hook allows cell customisation with a custom column render function as an alternative to using the existing slot method.
While not as versatile as the slot method in that components written in Vue / React / Angular will not render using this approach, it does provide a light-weight alternative method of customisation.
