As we enter the holiday period, we would like to share a few updates before we leave and return ready for the new year.
Firstly, we have now shipped page layout as a MDS Experiment. This is a very early preview and for the moment is for developers only. You can read the documentation on Storybook and you can see it in action here as the MDS website is based on it. Page layouts and templates remain a number one priority for the MDS and we will be continuing momentum on this in 2025 with designer support and further refinements and enhancements.
Secondly, after a short spell as a MDS Experiment, our Currency and Pricing guidelines has graduated and is now officially part of the Maersk Design System. Again, a huge thank you to those that contributed and assisted us in getting this guideline together.
And finally, we have revised our Grid page to more accurately reflect what we have delivered in Figma and code to date. The grid is still considered an MDS Experiment and like page layouts is a primary focus for us to get production ready in early 2025.
2024 has been a busy year for the MDS and we hope to share a recap with you in the new year. Thank you again for your continued support, invaluable feedback and contributions.
